The ceramic chamber pulls my hair in evenly and holds it without any yanking, which is exactly what I needed for my fine strands. Heats up fast and leaves a soft curl that lasts through my whole workday.
I was skeptical about the "no tension" claim, but it really does just cradle each strand while the ceramic heat works its magic. My whole head takes under ten minutes now, and there's no yanking or pulling like with my old wand.
The ceramic chamber does pull hair in evenly without yanking, which is nice, but the whole process takes longer than the "seconds" claim if you have thick sections. Heat feels even enough, though I’m not sure it’s any quicker than my old wand. Works fine for touch-ups, not a miracle tool.
